Yoodo Opens Fulfilment Hubs in Kuching and Kota Kinabalu

KUALA LUMPUR, 18 July 2022 – Yoodo, Malaysia’s first fully customisable and 100% digital mobile service, has expanded its reach in East Malaysia with two new SIM Card fulfilment hubs at Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, and Kuching, Sarawak.

The opening of the hubs will effectively cut delivery times of Yoodo SIM cards from the Peninsular to East Malaysia in half, from 4-10 days to 2-5 days.

While Yoodo prides itself in offering a 100% digital customer journey, the brand is set to prove that they are at the forefront of meeting the needs of the modern consumer. With an omnichannel approach which gives equal importance to all stages of the journey, the objective remains the same – a seamless user experience to add further convenience to users.

“Our new hubs are part of Yoodo’s expansion plan to future-proof our volume growth trajectory,” says Chow Tuck Mun, Head of Yoodo.

“With increasing demand for express delivery, the hubs will enhance our delivery capabilities, once again putting the needs of the consumer first and foremost. Customers are seeking faster deliveries for added convenience, and to live up to these expectations, we’ve re-written our logistics narratives to make sure Yoodo users get what they need, when they need it.”

Partnership

Yoodo has partnered with logistics companies J&T Express and I-Send logistics to handle the fulfilment aspects of all SIM card orders in East Malaysia placed through the Yoodo app or website.

“We knew we would need reliable logistics partners to create the best delivery experience for our customers. At Yoodo, we’re always intent on seeking like-minded partners who share the same goals as we do – and as customer service is at our forefront, J&T Express and I-Send were obvious choices,” adds Tuck Mun.

The first 1,300 users who order Yoodo SIM cards sent to East Malaysia will receive a complimentary limited-edition Yoodo face mask, as a value-add initiative to increase customer satisfaction.
