To entice luxury yachts to the tiny, sandy nation of Qatar, a number of offers are being made. This will allow visitors to the tournament, which runs from November 20 to December 18, to do so in style and comfort.

The Emir of Qatar is obviously no stranger to opulent mega yachts. Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani is the owner of the 123-meter yacht Al Lusail, which is thought to be worth $500 million. Although that yacht is not for charter, other sheikh-worthy yachts will undoubtedly arrive in Qatar in the coming weeks.

The nation's Old Doha port, which can accommodate yachts between 50 and 160 metres, will provide discounted berthing rates throughout the competition, with rates beginning at roughly $467 per metre for the time period between November 10 and December 31.

In other words, a 100-meter yacht could dock for the full time for $46,700. (unlike with some hotel accommodations, tickets to games are not included). The brand-new, opulent marina is located right in the middle of Doha's tourist district and provides quick access to stadiums.

But there isn't much room. Demand exceeds the marina's capacity of 59 yachts and 310 passengers per yacht. These berths, in the words of one charter company, "are like gold dust."

Finding it difficult to locate a yacht in Qatar? Not to worry! In Dubai, you can rent one and travel there with the crew of the boat. About 187 nautical miles separate Mina Rashid in Dubai from the Port of Doha. The journey will take just over 15 hours if your average cruising speed is 12 knots per hour. Budget for gas, don't forget. Yikes!

Apparently, after his NFT lost value, he decided to make another one based on it and is selling them for $20,000.

However, once you get there, you can host lavish watch parties with movie theater-sized TVs and a yacht crew at your beck and call while floating close to the shore. If you want, you could even pay a Michelin-starred chef to make your meals.

You can sail to Qatar's Remote and Pearl beaches between matches, or you can sail slightly to the north to take in a view of Lusail Stadium, the biggest stadium in the Middle East and the site of the World Cup final.
