Velum Labs Taps Global Cyber Intelligence Market with Home-Grown Talent

LANGKAWI, 24 May 2023 – Malaysia has taken a tangible step forward in solidifying its position as a global hub for world-class cyber technologies with the introduction of V-DARK, a cyber intelligence solution developed by Velum Labs Sdn Bhd, Sapura Group’s cyber security arm.

The launch, officiated by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, took place at The Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace exhibition 2023 (LIMA 2023).

V-DARK, designed to counter cyber threats posed by Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) groups, organized financial crime syndicates and other adversarial targeting enterprises, can be used by critical players in industries such as commercial banking, defence, insurance, aviation, energy, and telecommunications in strengthening their cyber resilience.
