Rocket Software, a global technology leader that develops enterprise software for some of the world’s largest companies, is hosting its annual Rocket.Build hackathon event today November 10, 2022.

In its 9th year, Rocket.Build aims to bring together Rocket Software employees, customers, partners and its student ecosystem to innovate to make technology more seamless, enhance the customer experience and continue to create a welcoming environment.

After a record-breaking year for participation in 2021, Rocket.Build 2022 will focus on projects that make complex challenges simpler and expand focus beyond code-dependent projects. Participants will focus on projects that introduce improvements to an existing Rocket Software process and are tasked with innovating around three suggested themes:

Technology Modernization

  • Participants may demonstrate how to adapt infrastructure, data and applications to current trends and concerns. Projects will focus on customer information control system (CICS) modernization, modernizing mainframe interfaces and developing and implementing a global license key methodology.

Customer Retention

  • Participants may work to strengthen the connection between Rocket Software and its customers with layered challenges in hybrid, cloud and software. Projects will focus on software version reporting, hybrid cloud innovation and branding.
