KUALA LUMPUR, 09 MARCH, 2023: Infomina Bhd has partnered with global technology provider Software AG to be its Premier Partner for Malaysia, aiming to expand Software AG's solutions to Malaysian businesses.

As part of the agreement, Infomina will be the sole representative for Malaysian businesses. The partnership is a sign of the growth potential of Malaysia's technology market, which has been expanding steadily in recent years.

The IDC Asia/Pacific Cloud Survey 2021 found that 86% of organizations in Malaysia had higher than regional average increases in cloud usage. Software AG has observed that there have been major shifts in the way IT departments provide technology to companies in recent years, and many companies are now utilising cloud applications, infrastructure and development platforms.

Infomina's collaboration with Software AG aims to provide advanced integration technologies that will help its clients solve complex integration challenges and stay ahead of the changing digital landscape. By leveraging Software AG's webMethods, Infomina can offer their clients credible capabilities that span application, cloud, and big data integration, API management, master data management, B2B integration, and managed file transfer.

Software AG and Malaysia Market

This collaboration enables Infomina to provide its clients with innovative solutions that will help them succeed in the digital era. Jonathan Heywood, Senior Vice President for API business in Software AG, shared that the Malaysian market is poised to take a leap in technological development in the near future.

“Though still an emerging technology market, there are strong positive signs from the government and the business community around the willingness and need for more advanced technological solutions for their businesses.

“Software AG has worked with over 10,000 businesses worldwide to help them build stronger connected enterprises and we strongly believe that the Malaysian market is poised to take a leap in technological development in the near future,” Heywood says.

Infomina has a proven track record of delivering successful digital transformation projects across various industries in Malaysia, and with this collaboration, Infomina will be better positioned to provide its customers with the latest technology solutions and expertise, accelerating their digital transformation journeys.

“Organizations are facing increasingly intricate challenges, from managing distributed workforces and disrupted supply chains to navigating trade regulations. While these challenges may persist, we can alleviate some of the complexity associated with addressing them. At Infomina, we understand the market,” says Managing Director of Infomina, Yee Chee Meng.

EPF as collateral? Is this really relevant?
EPF should lead this initiative without interventions of the banks. EPF should just loan out the money with no interest and track the repayment and act as a bank for their member just like a “koperasi” would do.
